Hi All
This event is only 2 weeks to go and entries are starting to come in.

We've changed the schedule from what was on the original entry form, the one on the website should be updated shortly.

We've rearranged it so there's a better mix between Nitro and petrol classes but allowed a decent gap on Saturday so those runing the same boats with different engines for T1 and the other hydro classes can get there engine change done on Saturday.

Here's how it's panned out

Saturday.

Yup, just make sure there's something on your engine that isn't standard but doesn't disqualify it from T1. I suspect the T2 rule will be tighten/clrified before the nationals. But the whole idea of the hydrofests is to get hydro enthusiasts on the water.

So for now you're good. frankly I just can't be buggered changing engines, a properly set-up stock engine driving tight lines has no issues competing with modded boats.

I ran the irms system for the weekend and gave me the opptunity to watch and learn,
Bob and Steve, Matt and the team from the Hamilton club give yourselves a pat on the back for a great venue and some great fun....
To the great bunch of guys from the Tauranga and Hamilton club you have some mighty fine racing boats which you should be proud of..
If this is our future for model boating keep up the good work really outstanding event...

Havent had that much fun since I dont know when!!, its great to see so many fast boats out there, and some great driving and racing.
A big thanks to those that didnt run boats but gave up their weekend to help run the event , Awesome to go boating with such a great bunch of guys!!
