COMMITTEE MEETING
HELD THURSDAY 15th DECEMBER 2011

Meeting Opened 8.00pm

Present
Wayne Mowbray (WM) as Chair, Grahame Haines (GH), Steve Trott (ST), Matt Gay (MG), Matthew Bindon (MB), and Paul Bretherton (PB), Andrew Colquhoun (AC).

THIS MEETING WAS CALLED TO DISCUSS FINAL SET UP ON THE NEW WEB SITE BEFORE ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE MEMBERSHIP

PB Announced the site was live and he was at Dale’s house so we could make any adjustments as we spoke.
He and dale had already signed up a couple of members who had found the new site already

NEW LOGO. All agreed it now looks brilliant

FORUM

Dale and PB explained how to join up via either Contact us, sign up or feedback tabs.

PHOTOS ON FORUM PROFILES
Dale explained to us how we can do it and advised he would write some instructions and post on the Forum over the Xmas break to help members do this

FRONT PAGE.
The Back ground has not yet been addressed as it was more important to get all the tabs and information right.
It was noted the Application for membership form was not on the site so GH added it to Drop Box so Dale could add that to the sign up page

TABS as shown looked good now that the descriptions had been added

All agreed we will address this issue in the New Year.

CALENDAR
Has been updated and added to site. PB explained to us how to use it talking everyone thru as we spoke.
PB said it still has work to do to be complete.
MODERATORS
GH suggested He and MG start the ball rolling as moderators particularly in the early days as we know most boaters and can police that we get genuine model boaters using the Forum.
GH indicated he will have full internet access over the holiday break and will sign on any who wish to do so, on a daily basis.
PB and Dale was able to do that there and then.
As for club moderators GH suggested we address that in the New Year as it was important to get the site public before Christmas All agreed.

All Agreed since GH has everyone’s e-mail address that he send an e-mail to all financial members to announce the site. For Christmas with a brief explanation on how to navigate thru the site.

Meeting closed 9.30pm
