GENERAL BUSINESS

'KO' points update.

2022 Nats update – see National 22 committee discussion record attached for story so far. Updare at monthly meetings.

Milling in oval racing, definition of whole course. Normative and Informative clauses. On basis of Steve Trott – email Set up sub committee to clarify 4.6 Oval rules.

GH will undertake to co-ordinate a sub committee of those in the SI doing a lot of oval racing to refine rule 4.6 and include informative clauses.

Any other business

NCRCBC lake at Amberly – regatta events on hold for meantine while noise measurements are taken with council and a solution/protocol reached.

TT – NC trialling variation on Classes (Hull) for OS racing on different format on extended M course, (superboats < 53” & >54”)

TM – We have recived a request from a non-member to list an 'Estate Sale' of used boats on our NZMPBA Facebook page. The committee considers we have duty of care to only list quality/credible/value for money boating gear on our Facebook page that will benefit our promotion of the hobby and the request is declined. There are plenty of other marketing avenues for non-members.
