Rule book upgrade comments
Committee have decided to put some of the contentious issues to the AGM
Summary report of changes has been compiled and will be sent to members in due course after the AGM. Then the revised draft will be sent out again to the full membership for a further 6 week consultation.
AGM 17th October at REAP House Wairarapa 340 Queen Street Masterton from 6.30pm, the night before the Wairarapa 120 offshore.
Through Beam Sensor for SAW runs
Was repaired here in NZ by ECS in Hamilton free of charge to us.
A fault with the control box was repaired in Blenheim and all now working fine

Committee agree Offshore cannot be recognised as a legitimate Hull class for any records across any engine/motor classes as they come under deep vee or tunnel classes.
As regards dropping T1 thunder boat in favour of T2 Thunderboat this was nothing more than Chinese whispers there are no plans to remove T1 Thunderboat from the rule book by this Committee
GENERAL BUSINESS

Presidents Cup Points 5 members out of 65 have indicated on their membership questionnaire that they wish to compete for The Presidents Cup. They were advised who they were and requested for one of them to volunteer to collate points. As far as the Committee is aware no one has volunteered to collate these.
2021 calendar of events
Just a reminder to Clubs that the end of year is looming up fast and time to start thinking about planning your regattas for next year so we can sort and approve by December committee meeting.
