Well, we have come to the end of another year. Was a mixed up one for us, but we are positive for better times next season.

At our club Christmas BBQ last night the certificates for our club championships were presented. This season we tried a new format of 5 and 10 lap events. 5 laps for the Open Oval and 10 laps on the big course for our Offshore event. This alleviated us having to have rescues within the events, and also gave us closer racing with the results not so predictable.

The results were,

E.T. Cup, (Open Oval - 5 laps)

1st Wayne Thompson
2nd Keith Ewing
3rd. Trevor Emerson

Henley Trophy (10 Lap Offshore)

1st Tony Creber
2nd Trevor Emerson
3rd Wayne Thompson

Over all Champion,

1st Wayne Thompson
2nd Tony Creber
3rd Trevor Emerson.

Many thanks to all of our club members and supporters. Also a hearty thank you to Sharon and Keith for hosting our BBQ and sharing their hospitality with us. Sharlene, sorry you couldn't make it, our thoughts are with you.
