A big weekend of model power boating with both the Picton and Masterton events over the two days.
An intriguing result in Picton with 'he', 'him' and the 'other-one' taking the 3 top placings. Was interesting racing, resulting in a deserved winner, though there is some uncertainty who this actually was.
At Masterton it was a calm and fine day. Had 14 entries but came down to 12 starting. With the attrition rate were able to put the second heats into one draw with 9 boats on the water. Same with the final but at the end there were only two boats still running. Wayne Thompson chugging around with his big boat and the twin only firing on one cylinder and Nitro who was blasting around the course.
All in all, was a good day.
