Hi,

Well in to October now and only a few weeks till the round of the offshore here in Masterton.

Just quickly,

Unfortunately we will not have a BBQ this time around. We simply don't have anyone to do it for us. There is a shop across the road and the normal fast food outlets down in town which is not far away from the lake. Sorry about that.

Trevor has been arranging for a trial of the transponder system that is being tested here over the day of the event. It would be appreciated if you could put one in your boat. to see how it all works. We will still be using the normal tried and true lap counting system for the event, but will check the transponder results against our counting. Its our counting which is the official result.

Due to a number of reasons we will be down on club members available to run the event so will need to call on your help. If you can please, it would be appreciated.

As you will see, we have our new jetty in place now so this will be good.

The lake levels are very low at the moment but hopefully with the rain we have at present we might get some water flowing in. Will monitor this as we get closer to the date. Will let you know.
