The Wairarapa Model Power Boat Club has been granted the hosting rights for 2 Rounds of the NZMPBA Offshore Hi-Points Series for 2016. To be held at Henley Lake, Masterton on the 17th April 2016 and the 30th October 2016.
We have called these the 'Wairarapa 120 Challenge' and invite you all to come to Masterton, enjoy our excellent facilities and be part of a memorable event.
The events will consist of x 2 half hour heats and a one hour final.
These will be 'challenges' in every meaning of the word, with 120 minutes of racing on a big course with (dependent on entries) big fields. Time will be tight and everyone will need to be on their game. It is planned to start racing at 9am, finish 4/30 pm.
Will be run under the NZMPBA Rules and the Offshore Hi-Points Series guidelines. All entrants will need, obviously, to be current members of the NZMPBA.
We have started the planning and will get more details to you, with entry forms, in due course.
