Remarkably close, jst shows what attending as many races you can with three boats will do. I like it, maybe we should remove the Nats from Pressie cup points tally from now on? Still got the King of the Nats trophy for rewarding Nats performance.

Nah that's a bad idea Terry. Offshore points system works perfectly well the way it is. Has delivered a different winner for each year so far with less that 100 points separating First and second, with third not far behind. And it's a simple formula consistent with all of our other forms of racing. A win is till a win no matter how many are racing.

President cup events would benefit from 400 points for a won event, because it would encourage people to build and race boats in the "softer" Classes like electric and Nitro. That will build the sport. Scaling points based on the number of entrants, undervalues the effort of those turning up to participate in the smaller classes.
