MATTERS ARISING;

NZMPBA Insurance.

The NZMPBA Health and Safety doc has been updated with the relevant current insurance info, S Trott is to e mail this to P Collier so it can be updated to the NZ web site. S Trott is also to e mail the policy to M Bindon so MB can individually upload the entire insurance doc to the web site for access by the membership. As a note the wording regarding outboard motor size has also been updated.

Website.

M Bindon gave an update and has contacted P Bretherton regarding instructions on how to operate the web site, those instructions are still awaited. Full site redevelopment to be considered later. This all remains as a work in progress

3 > 2015 National Champs Committee Attendance.

At this stage the only committee members known to be attending the 2015 Nats are S Trott, P Anderson, J Belworthy, M Bindon will only attend Thursday and Friday, P Fowler may attend but only as a support person, not a competitor, others yet TBC.

4 > Deep Vee Hull Rules and NZ Offshore Series

There was general discussion around the proposed variations to the NZ Offshore Series and the Deep Vee hull specification rules, M Bindon and P Fowler to look into the proposed changes and the hull spec rules with a view to making further recommendations for further committee consideration.

GENERAL BUSINESS;

NZMPBA Membership cards.

The current membership applications have all been ratified, membership cards to be prepared and sent out as required.

2 > 2015 National Champs

BOPMPBC to prepare a list of nearby accommodation that can be advertised to the membership.

BOPMPBC to ensure the event is properly advertised.

T Riddiford to contact R Simonsen ( Australia) to offer AMPBA members an invitation to attend the NZ Nats.

P Anderson to look into medals that would be presented as keep sakes for event winners with event winners still having their photo taken with the existing class trophy.

IRMS Battery.

S Trott reports that the Deep Cycle battery for IRMS has finally stopped taking a charge, the battery has lasted some 8 years, S Trott will look into options for replacement and report back.
