We held our Feb. Club Day this Sunday the 16th.

As we are off Henley Lake due to the algae bloom we used our alternative venue at Kourarau Dam which is about 14 kms from Masterton at Gladstone. Very lucky to have this available so close to Masterton. It was a lovely day up there with a slight breeze which put a chop on the water. Ideal for all of the boats on the day. Good clean water.

Due to the altitude we did have some initial problems with carb adjustments.

Good racing, good company (it was great to have Fred come over from Wellington to join us)., an enjoyable afternoon.

Many thanks to Mr Blackwood for allowing us access, to Ray for his rescue boat, and to those who could make it.

Our next race day is on the 9th March, and will be getting some club days in before the Wellington Offshore in March. Hope to have a good Wairarapa contingent over there !!!
