Hi,

We held our penultimate race day for this year on Sunday the 10th. We enjoyed an almost full club 'muster'.
The weather was stunning and the water was clear with only a light breeze. With there now little difference in speed between the big off shore boats competition was strong, and passing a lot more difficult. This made for exciting racing and the spectators certainly enjoyed it as did the drivers. With the wake from the rescue boat there were some spectacular jumps and roll overs. A lot of humour during the day, even after a few collisions over the days racing. The rescue boat was well manned during the day with several taking up the rescue duties which allowed Ray to be able to enjoy his racing, and everyone helping out with the launching and 'pitman'. Now we have up to 65 inch boats in the club, the system of towing the boats back to dock worked well.

This was a good 'shake down' for the Wellington Offshore next weekend.

The last raceday for the year will be on the 14th December and the plan is to start early and finish the day with the prize giving and a BBQ.
