Hi To everyone in the HMPBC and members of the NZMPBA.

It has been a busy last few months for most of our club members with the rush of jobs that need completing before Christmas and the summer holiday brake.
Personally I was tied up finishing off a two year restoration of the family 40ft yacht, which was finished in time for using over the holiday period.

My model boats have been stored away since the end of the Taupo 100, however I am happy to say that they are now out on the table with two hydros almost ready to go. I am also working on a sport 45 which is about halfway back together.

I hope other members are starting to pull their boats out of storage. I have spoken to a few local members who have been flat out over the holiday period but looking forward to boating again soon.

Next month we will hold our first club race day, running as it has over the last two years. I hope to see lots of boats out on the water over the next couple of months as people get ready for the Nationals at Easter.
