In the Summer of 2007/2008 Christian was an exchange student to NZ and a regular attendant at our WMPBC club days/nights and during that time he prepared a 3.5 Hydro for the 2010 Worlds and showed considerable class the way he was able to drive the little hydro in our rough water. In the 2008 Wellington Offshore he was offered and accepted the drive of Wayne McNaught's backup boat for the event and duly won it, so his name is on our Trophy.

Now he is 2012 World Champion in FSR V 27, congratulations Christian, great to think we had a budding world champion in our ranks albeit for a short time.

He also placed 3rd in 3.5 Hydro perhaps with the boat he built here.
