Good work on the latest Propshaft Pete and those who contributed. There's some good reading in there. Really liked Nitro's Nats article, complete with commentary. 😎

Cam you let us know what your target publishing dates are so we can get off our butts and give you some regional clubs updates intime?

Thanks Bob, yes Nitro writes a good story.

Yes if only advance publishing dates worked, in the past they come and go with very little copy submitted. And as you know from your Pres stint some folk really need a stir up to actually write something.

Thanks for your Ham OS report, I had to hold it over as the issue had grown to 37 pages, it is the first and only copy for next issue so far.

As for a next deadline date I would suggeest 8 Sept, that is a week after the Taupo 100 and there are 4-5 regattas before that so there is a potential edition just on that and gives me 1-2 weeks to get it all together mid to end Sept in time for a last push Promo for the NI Champs at Lab wknd.

After that I am happy to put one together before year end, with all the Nats promo etc and the regatta reports to the end of year. That breaks the year nicely up into quarters.

Regatta reports are fine but it all gets a bit much of a muchness after a while. What really makes it more interesting is the technical 'how to' articles that we can all learn from. How about some of you folk running the petrol hydros write a bit and maybe something from the electric side as well, there is a gathering groundswell of interest there.

Rightioh I've got one week after the Taupo round of the offshore to get a Regatta report and club report in.But I'm up for it.

As most will know, I'm happy to espouse my opinions to anybody I think is listening, so will try and think of writing down some stuff about what I've learned reecntly.

Alternatively you could offer the job of writing a race report to an enthusiastic volunteer.

Thanks Wayne and Bob and Steve(by email), the comments above make it worthwhile for me.

LOL. Being facitious there, occasionally some folk are pleased to be asked and write a refreshing report and that is good.

More often though you just have to pester people and hope they come through. Such is life.

Peter

Still some room for more copy in this issue. Any contributors?
