It is with sadness we hear of the passing of Mr Peter Collier on Tuesday 17 Jun 2024. We have lost a best friend, great competitor and all-round nice guy.
Peter has been a long-time member of the Wellington Model Power Boat Club, and life member of the NZMPBA, most recently holding the position of Treasurer for the Association.
Peter has been fighting a period of ill health for a while now but had made some appearances at our club events this year as his health allowed.
Peter was a keen offshore racer, so it is fitting that this weekend's offshore event at Hamilton be known as the P Collier Remembrance Regatta.
Peter will be greatly missed.
