BH - 4 stroke motors?? increasing cc limit (above 72 cc) to compensate?? BH to report back. Ongoing. Defer to next meeting.

NZMPBA website Boat of the month for August on website.
Thanks Brian. All members are invited to submit their projects for display on a month by month basis.

GENERAL BUSINESS

2023 Nats Clive Stevens Clark (CSC) narrative on NZMPBA FB page. Email a reply missed deadline, but we can discuss at AGM.

AGM – set for 28 August - (Sunday Night 7 pm) by Skype.
Notice of AGM was sent out and Call for remits for changes to constitution (none received to date) Will send a reminder.

Standing down GH, GV, BH at AGM
Continuing on committee, BB, TT, MS, TM, PC - prepared to continue as Treasurer outside of Committee.
Call for new committee members, please consider and advise secretary of willingness to stand.

Merits of an annual 'WOF' for all our boats instead of needing to fully scrutineer at each outing, just requiring a check of items 10 to 13 and recording, individual keeps records and surrenders in the event of a potential insurance claim. Ongoing PC . Discuss at AGM and defer next committee to action.

'King of' updates since last meeting, TT? No more results received in last month.

Taupo O/S?, word is the fee to harbourmaster has been paid and the event is going ahead, check NZMPBA.co.nz website for entry form.

Any other business

GH – bowing out of committee involvement wants to focus on running his boats as much as possible, TT proposed vote of thanks for all of his contributions, endorsed by all present.

Trophies held by GH – option to distibrute to original donators, last winner, for redundant (class) trophies that realistically will never be competed for again.

NZMPBA equipment held by BOP and other locations. Add a column to the assets list on the annual accounts to record location. PC
