JB email

JB talked with Brent Mills re insurance and haven’t sent a letter to possible insurers yet.
JB has booked a room at the Cossie club (Taupo) for the AGM, at $20/hr on the 21st August.
PC suggested 'committee members' may be able to participate at AGM via skype.

GENERAL BUSINESS

Membership Survey: Response so far? 30/65 None further as at 1 July.

PC points SS – preparation still onging for forwarding to Murray. - still in progress.

2022 Nationals update?
Didymo protocol – should we spray boats before going in water at Ironback venue!!!!

Any other business

PF – does NZMPBA consider applications for financial support (repayable) for development of facilities. In the past $ contributions have been made to clubs in support of holding a Natonals to assist with infrastructure. Recollections among the committee are that such applications have been considered and actioned in the past. North Canterbury Club to prepare an application for consideration.

Motion by BH: for host club (Nats) to be able to apply for an advance of up to $200 for assistance if required to defray expenses in holding a Nationals.

BH – since HPM as a NZ supplier has closed down. Should we compile a list of suppliers of RC boat gear, local and overseas and post on website. BH volunteered to gather the info and send to PC for inclusion on website.

Rule book review,

PC presented list of changes collated in SS so far in 2021.

PC added text changes into Rule book draft for revision 3. Intended to take us to end of 2021 to complete review and Rev 3 is thus rule book version for 2022.

PC to tidy up draft and send to committee for final comment and then send out for six week (members) consultation prior to AGM. This provides an opportunity for those at the AGM to contribute more directly.
