MATTERS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES;

1. Scrutineering
Working on streamlining the scrutineering process to speed up starting of racing.
Peter has created a self scrutineering sheet he hopes to trial at the next Wellington Offshore meet. Possibly at Rotorua?

2 Rule Book updates
GH has completed all the upgrades sent out to members for the mandatory 6 week consultation

Have been published to the membership for the mandatory 6 week consultation.

Committee accepts we have issues and we are working hard to sort them out
Big thanks to Peter for getting things back to normal.

Timing Equipment
BOP Club ran the first 2 lap oval record day with the new equipment after a few teething issues early on due to a rise in the lake level from rain the day before making beam set up more difficult.
Also late in the afternoon the sun reflecting on the beam caused unscheduled tripping and shielding from the sun is going to be tried to see if that cures the problem.

Murray Smithson remit.
General feeling at the AGM was for 1 off regattas a fee should be charged to cover insurance and incidentals. Committee will discuss further to gauge feeling of membership before making final recommendations to be submitted at next AGM.

Offshore rules
A review is pending on a tweak of the rules regarding things that are not being done properly or can be dispensed with at regattas.

Disappointing turn out with only 10 members Present.
