Hi every one
Hope you had a good night last night and are not suffering the consequences too much this morning.
I spent much of the night at the Diversion in the dark setting up our new laser timing gear as we could see the laser beam in the dark which made things much easier aligning things.
hopefully some test runs next weekend to iron out the bugs.

As today is 1st January 2018 it is a timely reminder that 2018 subs are due again so forward them to the treasurer John Belworthy (Harry Potter) at your earliest convenience before your first regatta.

Today also means that your Presidents Cup points start again at zero for 2018 year.

Also a timely reminder that from today ALL petrol powered boats running in NZMPBA sanctioned events must be protected against zero voltage receiver failure by using an ignition coil immobilising system.
The effectiveness of your immobilising system will become mandatory at scrutineering,demonstrated with your engine running.

If you do not already have them fitted to your petrol boats there are many good waterproof ones available thru online hobby shops now and the best one is NZ made by Brent Mills in Tauranga. Reasonable price as well
