🙂 Well here we go again, this year is nearly over and we are planning for next year. We have penciled in Sunday 22 January 2017 which is Wellingtons Anniversary weekend for the first round of the Southgate Motor Inn Enduro Series. The format for next years series has changed and will be known as the Southgate Motor Inn 500.
It will be run over two 250 minute enduros with the first as said in January and the second in October 2017. This is a teams event with a minimum of two drivers and two boats and a maximum of three drivers and three boats. They do not have to be Off Shore boats, but it is preferable that they are. The BOPMPBC are kindly hosting the event for the Sponsor and the course will be an Off Shore M type course. It is preferable that your team that starts the series is the same team that will compete in the second round. Each team will have a Captain and also a name. There will be prize money for the first and second teams in each round with the overall winning team taking home the Trophy. The entry form will be loaded once the date has been confirmed, so in the meantime do some thinking and get your teams sorted. Each team will only have one boat in the water at anyone time and 250 minutes of continuous racing works out to be 4 hours and 10 mins. This is going to be an awesome series and there will be a limit of ten teams, so be prepared to enter once the entry form is loaded. Cheers Sorry 😀
