Great for us Senior boaters, no more sore arms.

Great price too. 🙂

Haha yep put one on my T boat a couple of years ago. Dunno why, but those stock engines kick like mules. Ezy start no turning back.

Hi Guys. Don't rush in and buy a Rev ezy start unless you know what you are doing. As they come they do not fit any other motor as the pawl does not have an extension on it like the Zenoah one's. I have used them but you need a lathe as you have to extend the pawl and to do that is a lot of mucking around. Believe me it is not worth the hassles. They will work if you go and buy the Zenoah pawl but they are three times as much as the Rev ezy start, so just go and buy a Zenoah ezy start. Have a good one.

I have fitted one of these same 'rev unlimited' ezy starts to my Zenoah 26 without any more challenge than what us modellers deal with daily and it works fine, just take due care not to put crankshaft out of alignment, read John Belworthy's tip in the Propshaft issue 2013-2 on page 26.

Ran mine in 3 events at the Nats and it started every time, no issues.

What is a pawl????

The price cannot be ignored at US$15.68, I paid NZ$70 for another one of a different brand bought in NZ. So maybe a little bit of messing around to get it to work is worth it. 🙂

Just don't use the piston stop tool that comes in the box when you tighten the pawl onto the crankshaft , you will twist you crank for sure!
