Fair enough then, just be aware that if you think a side carb is hard to keep water out of, then a front induction engine is an order of magnitude worse. Not a great choice for an offshore engine. More interestingly, the guys building the Gas Scale hydros in the US also seem to be sticking with side ported engines. Front ports/rear exhaust really haven't been that successful anywhere.

Yeah I here what your saying, but in my new Off Shore two rear exhaust motors side by side will be a lot easier to set up. I will use flexible ducts for air flow which to me will be an advantage as I can point them to where I want
