Congratulation Bob Gutsell overall winner of the 2013 Rotorua 100

As you can see from the results this offshore round will go down as one of the windiest and roughest events that most competitors have ever experienced. Metservice shows a maximum wind gust of 70kms per hour for Saturday. The Rotorua lake had white caps all day long with gusts blowing across the water making boats do funny things.

Thank you to all who put up with the conditions.

Yep a bit more luck doesn't go astray, mind you I needed some after only just making a lap in the first heat! 😀 The start of that heat was horrible, I've never seen all boats out before the start buzzer before. Nor have I ever seen rooster tails being blown sideways either.
