PB noted he can put that closing date on the official calendar and did so as we spoke.
Regarding remits AC noted that as manufacturers are producing twin 30.5 engines now we need to look at changing capacity for P3
GH suggested AC draft up a remit to submit to AGM and they can then discuss it and make a decision there.
All agreed
DON HORNE TROPHY.
St enquired what should we do regarding the trophy that got stolen out of a members car several years ago.
GH said it was a silver plated 2 blade prop of a full sized boat.
All agreed we need to replace it for Most Authentic Scale Hydro judging at nationals.
Suggested next committee can address the issue.
MG enquired if the Gold Cup series would ever happen again.

Have a small metal badge plus 2 varieties of plastic badges. 1 with a pin clip the other with a magnet for fridges etc Also a neat white mug with our logo that looks smart. The first 10 mugs have already been sold to committee members. And have more on order.
GH doing same mugs for the nationals instead of patches with “NZMPBA Nationals Tauranga 2012 on them.”
Costs. All agreed mugs for sale @ $20 each metal badges $15 Magnets $15 and plastic pins $10 each.
NAVIGA
GH reported allegations made in letter are inconsistent with what has been minuted in AGM minutes as he has minutes book from 1982 to present day.
All agreed we need to do a thorough investigation into allegations made in the TK letter and given the Nationals is upon us our focus should be there and making it a great success and deal with this issue with the next committee.
All agreed.
ST. E-Mail re Gokart Club
ST have copied the BOP gokart clubs advisory on AGM and club positions on the executive.
All agreed it is worth adopting something along those lines for us as well and should be put on the agenda for next Committee as well.
LIFE MEMBERSHIP John Belworthy.
GH reported he has heard rumours that John Belworthy will be at Nats and it is high time he was made a life member given the length of time he has been with model boating. He has a very impressive track record in administration, competition and boat design. Most of the mono boats we raced in the 80’s and 90’s we his designs
It is understood he will be attending Saturdays events and given we have the AGM the night before( we need AGM approval) we can spring it on him as a complete surprise on race day. I can get a life member pin done with the new logo as a one off no problem.
All agreed to put it to AGM then do it.
There being no further business meeting closed 10.30pm.
