Humm.....Bio info? Here goes:
I live in San Jose, California, family members first arriving here in1853 from Germany.
I went thru school & on to serve an apprenticeship here as a tool room machinist in the Aerospace & Electronics Industries.
1975 saw me going into business as RPM Inc (Richardson Precision Machining Inc.) and finally retiring in 2000.
RPM Inc. developed & produced products for three R/C industries, mainly because I was involved deeply in those as a hobby all my life ( model marine & R/C cars & air planes).
RPM con rods, RPM carbutators, & RPM motor mounts were the three main items we produced (& others) for the model boating industry.
I also worked & had services for other industries that made for a facinating working life:
racing motor cycles, open wheel race cars........
What notable accomplishiments are mine?
I ran SAW record trials & held our NAMBA A class hydro record for three years.
Sponsored a number of racing modellers here mainly in nitro 1/8 scale hydro class-
(five National Champions)
My products have held more records & produced more wins in modelling than any other hobby mfgr. in history. I'm proud of that & the help I've given to everyone.
New Zealand has been a big part of my life & hobby interests & still is today.
